MONDAY

Chips are great, they really are, but how about swapping the starchy potatoes for sweet potato? Madeleine Shaw of Get The Glow fame showed off her chicken schnitzel with sweet potato fries on Instagram and we couldn’t wait to give it a try.

TUESDAY

Shepherd's pie

Nothing screams comfort food like shepherd’s pie – but how do you make it healthier? Cauliflower, that’s how! Gizzi Erskine created this merguez shepherd’s pie with cauli mash for her book, Gizzi’s Healthy Appetite: Food to nourish the body and feed the soul

WEDNESDAY

raw berry and white chocolate cheesecake

Everyone needs a midweek treat, but that doesn’t mean you should reach for the biscuits. How about this raw berry and white chocolate cheesecake instead? It really is as good as it looks. Get this gluten-free, refined sugar-free, wheat-free, dairy-free recipe from The Uncook Book: The essential guide to a raw food lifestyle

THURSDAY

wholewheat pasta

This is a plate of carbonara. We repeat, this is a plate of carbonara. Yep, Jamie Oliver has turned the gazillion calorie meal into something that’s good for you. His ‘skinny carbonara’ is made with wholewheat pasta, smoky bacon, peas, almonds and basil. The little peas are a source of nine different micronutrients, and are especially high in thiamin, a B vitamin that helps our hearts to function properly. Find the recipe in his newest book, Everyday Super Food.

FRIDAY

avocado on toast deliciously ella

Avocado toast with garlicky spinach, lots of lemon juice, chilli flakes and black pepper is delicious – and it’ll keep you full until lunch. Ditch the white bread though and replace with rye. Yum.

SATURDAY

the detox kitchen

Oranges in your salad – don’t scoff. The Detox Kitchen’s refreshing blood orange, green bean and hazelnut salad is going to make you glow and feel great. For those of you who don’t know, one cup of hazelnuts contain 86% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin E, which has been proven to maintain healthy skin and eyes and strengthen the immune system.

SUNDAY

banana pancakes

It’s Sunday, of course you deserve a delicious breakfast! How about Hemsley and Hemsley’s #clean pancakes? The blueberry pancakes are grain-free, gluten-free and refined sugar-free – all topped off with mango cashew cream. We don’t really need to tell you how great blueberries are, do we? They are antioxidant-rich, and low in sugar. Enjoy!
