H2wooaah! Water is your beauty BFF. Here’s 8 reasons why you need it when it comes to cleansing your face…
1. DO THE DOUBLE CLEANSE
To use water as the core of your beauty cleanse routine, use running water and make sure your face cleansing routine lasts at least 20 seconds. That’s longer than you think.
Use water as your internal cleanser, too. Start each day by drinking a pint of warm water with a squeeze of honey in it. Then make sure you down at least 1.6 litres a day for the ladies (that’s about 8 x 200ml glasses) and chaps it’s 2 litres for you (10 x 200ml glasses). It will keep your kidneys working properly, so your body’s system is kept clean and flushed. Not sure you’re drinking enough? The best way to check you are well hydrated is (sorry but we’re all grown ups here): check your urine. It should be a pale straw colour and fairly odourless and you should be urinating quite frequently. Anything else may be a sign you’re dehydrated – so up your water quota.
2. MAKE MINE A WATER

Skin cells need water like gin needs tonic and bread needs butter. You know where we’re going with this. The right levels of the heavenly H2O, leaves skin cells hydrated and as a result they look plumper. This reduces the appearance of wrinkles and cellulite. So that’s a win and erm, a win! Struggling to keep your water intake high? Try eating your water. No, we haven’t gone mad. Just munch on cucumber, celery and watermelon as you snack your way through the day. Simples.
3. GET STEAMING
Use water to help unclog pores. Keeping your skin hydrated is the biggest role water plays in your beauty regime but steaming can help keep your skin looking dewy and fresh. 4. WATER = HEALTHY HAIR

Water is your workout buddy. Hydrated muscles are happier to work out plus water carries oxygen around the body and lubes up joints. Drink enough and your body temperature will remain more regulated so you can push yourself harder and for longer.
