Smoothie bowls: the elusive breakfast that look so pretty, you almost don't want to eat 'em (almost)! This spirulina bowl is just as pretty as it is good for you, and it's surprisingly easy to make! It's got coconut water, blue algae, and you can even add protein-- it's totally Insta-worthy, and a great way to show your friends that you're actually sticking to that "new-year-healthy-eating" thing, right!?
*Pro tip: if you want to make your bowl even more insta-worthy, freeze it for a few before topping it with fruit. It'll help preserve the shape :)
- ¾ c Vita Coco Coconut Water, Pure
- 1 1/2 frozen bananas
- ¼ c frozen mangoes
- 1 scoop vanilla protein (optional)
- 2 tsp Spirulina
- Toss all that stuff into your blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Top with your favorite fruit and granola, and enjoy!
